The UNI PdR 125:2022 Gender Equality Certification has been obtained as evidence of a concrete commitment to eliminating the gender gap in business activities and creating a fair and inclusive work environment. The certification was awarded following an evaluation process conducted by Kiwa Cermet Italia based on six indicators: culture and strategy, governance, personnel-related processes, opportunities for women’s growth and inclusion, gender-based remunerative equity and parenting safeguards, work-life balance. Sigma has exceeded the required targets in these areas.

This significant achievement demonstrates the company’s dedication to equity and inclusion, extending beyond the inclusion of women in the workforce, and ensuring equal treatment and career path.

Sigma celebrates over 40 years of success, a growth path made possible thanks to the talent, perseverance and passion of the people who joined a small team transforming it into a strong company with products and services appreciated worldwide.

For the first time, after 40 years of activity, we update our logo with a more contemporary design without distorting its original essence; What makes this change special is that it was conceived and designed by our internal team, symbolizing the coalition of our staff.
The new logo maintains the original colors and structure of the beginning, but acquires a new solidity and compactness, reflecting the desire to renew itself and to look to the future with enthusiasm and confidence.

Since August 2023, Sigma started to install a new generation of TVMs at select Rail stations operated by GO Transit, Metrolinx, in the city of Toronto, Canada. These new TVMs will replace the existing devices and the roll out will be done in phases. The TVMs will look different and offer several new, accessible features:

► More PRESTO card options, including the ability to purchase PRESTO cards from all machines, load a card, set a GO default trip, and change the language option to English or French.
► The ability to purchase both GO Transit and UP Express paper tickets from all TVMs.
► Accessibility enhancements for a better customer experience, including foot clearance for customers using mobility devices, a larger screen with high resolution display, high contrast and braille labels and an enhanced accessibility mode with audio output that enables control of the TVM using the PIN pad.

Millennium BCP has installed numerous SR2000s all around the country in order to ensure continuity of service with modern and innovative methods.

The event was boosted with a demonstration of the functioning of the ticketing equipment that will soon be available to users of the future Mondego Mobility System.

Sigma will be attending as exhibitor at the UITP, 5-7 June 2023, in Barcelona, the world’s biggest event dedicated to sustainable mobility which brings together all transport modes, industry authorities and operators.

This year we will be bringing a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) which we will be eager to show to all visitors. We believe that TVMs are still a fundamental sales channel in any Ticketing Solutions, making the purchasing and travel experience friendly and pleasant from Km 0.
